Yes, it’s the middle of December here in Minnesota.

The temperature outside is -4 Fahrenheit. With the wind chill it feels like minus 20. Here in the shop it’s +64. There’s a draft that’s making my legs feel cool, and I have a jacket on, trying to keep warm.

I could be up north where the temp without wind chill is -20.

But I remember my mother telling me about when she was a little girl, the house they lived in was so poorly built and not insulated, and when she slept upstairs at night the snow would sift in through the cracks.
