I was just notified that our daughter’s school is closing at noon today because of the bad weather. We now have a blizzard warning for this area, not because they anticipate a lot of snow, but because the high winds are blowing what little snow we are getting, causing visibility in the surrounding countryside to drop to near zero, what is referred to as “white-out conditions”.

It remains to be seen whether this will affect our trip to Rochester tomorrow, or for that matter, the planned Twins Caravan at the Kato Ballroom tonight.

We do have tickets to go see future hall-of-famer Bert Blyleven, as well as current Twins baseball players, this evening when the Twins Caravan rolls into town. It seems it happens almost every winter when the Twins come, it’s either a snowstorm or bitterly cold.

Well, keep us in your prayers.
